About this audition
Applicants from outside Greater Cincinnati are welcome; most chorus and smaller roles tend to be cast locally. Prior Wave 01/02 receipt reclassified under Wave 03 status law. R29 fresh first-party check: Cincinnati Opera explicitly identifies its scheduled Cincinnati sessions as in-person auditions. R33 fresh first-party check: Cincinnati Opera lists October 30, 2026 as the final application deadline for its December 4-6 in-person auditions; later audition and festival dates do not extend performer entry.
